if he shows up, which he rarely does, he's just a showboater, doesnt mix well, and in general is just kind of annoying

i played with him on RiverRave in boston years ago

trainwrecked for an hour, then fell down, threw up, and passed out drunk

the rest of the lineup would be better to see in my opinion

and partymonster sucked

HOWEVER, i think seeing Keoki is like seeing Oakenfold, Tiesto, etc... you should see him, but dont expect TOO much...

When I saw him...he played some of the tracks I liked from Disco Death Race 2000...which was cool until I realized he was playing the CD...

I'd go to look up Big Rich. I haven't seen any of those guys since before I left for the army. He was some of the first funky house I ever heard.

Are any of those guys still around? Jay, Rise, Simple Love, Josh Stone, Chris (the guy who owned Underground Sound in San Antonio), Francisco, Groove Eddie, or the guy who owned House of Wax in San Antonio (I forget his name atm)? Are any of them still in it? Is House of Wax still open? Is there anything going on in San Antonio these days?

Most of the attitude posted in the forums is fake. It's easy to talk shit when you know no one can punch you through a computer screen.
Try doing it in person.

I miss San Antionio, was a cute city

As i said, Keoki is a showboater, and he hadnt been booked for a gig in ages until that piece of shit movie came out with him in it.  Party Monster.  Still makes me wanna vomit.

Keoki actually got roughed up real bad a few weeks ago at ICE in LV; dont know why, but it was in the Las Vegas Weekly.  Scary.

All of the 'big name showboats' are people who will bring a crowd, but not provide an experience worth the cost of booking them

i think this show will otherwise be fun, but i wouldnt go to see Keoki... i'd go to support the locals and leave during Keoki's set
