omg.... is what i have to say abou the deadmau5 party. it was a blast and the show was killer.

limelight is a very nice and totally clean venue.  i love it there. they even have a worker in the bathroom that gives you soap and and a towel when u was ur hands. how lovely is that.  and they have a layout of perfumes, lotions, freaky blow dryers, hair spray, and a shit load of other goodies for us girls to play with on the bathroom counter as well. i love being a girl. lol

fliers for this party was a task to find.  When i first got there none of the djs had any. blah.....so while hunting them down i found a guy that was working the door that had some it in has car. he was nice enou to go out there and get me a hand full. horray! misson accomplished. lol

let me say, i give mad props to the djs that torn down. napier's set was prob the best i have ever heard him and dj woody was great too. that was the first set i have heard him play and i liked it alot.  and joey modus.....omg..... totally rocked it. i must say who ever did the line up for this show knew how to sequence the build up to the headliner very well. it went from minimal techo to some nice smooth house and then to some good electro with deadmau5. I was impressed. I can't figure out who threw down the best cause it was all sooooooo good.

The turn out was a good size too. It didn't fill the venue up but it was enou that TN totally came out and represented.  Still cant figure out why that place has a VIP section.  Was not impressed with that at all. It was just a cut off section of the club with some tables.....and yeah that was abou it. Kids were totally cool @ this party. there was this one dude that totally rocked the dance floor with his break dancin. the girl that was with him was making me laugh so hard..... if u want details on that one, cant tell u.  u would of had to been there to understand. but there were some good dancers out that nite. i even broke out with some liquid.... think it was the fungi that did it for me. lol. saw some deadheads dancing with hula hoops.....now thats some talent. my clarksville crew was there too which made the nite even better. love u guys.

over all this party was totally worth going out on a weds nite.... i would do it all over again.

oh and i still cant get over that mouse dead that he wears....lol he had two different ones that he worn during his set. its crazy especially when the eye balls light up and flicker.

it was a good time. Was surprised that the venue wasn't fuller. I guess not bad for a Wed night. Was disapointed with Deadmau5. I know he is not a DJ and is strictly an entertainer/producer but come on. He played a premixed CD and tweaked it with Ableton live while dancing around in a mouse helmet. Not to mention the dude was completely unapproachable. Don hit em up about the event and he was kind of a dick. Cat is right though I was impressed with Napiers/Woodys set. all in all decent. Nice Venue, nice set up, nice peeps, decent headliner. here he is at a cracker barrel on his way out of TN to Philly.
