Pokemon and Carebears, Smurfs and Rainbow Brite, Hello Kitty and Sailor Moon are a candy kids delight.
Addidas, Nike, Caffeine or Ufo's make up the fashion scene.
Stickers, Glitter and colored hair, all of this is the culture we share.
Can't forget P*L*U*R, Peace Love Unity and Respect, or music and dance.
These are more important than phatty pants.
Combine it all: toy's, clothes and respect.
Be your inner kid, it's what we expect.

I think it was dawn
Or maybe dusk...
I couldn't tell from
The orange glare that reflected
Off my eyelashes.
The sounds of the colorful
Sirens stirred my emotions
And I felt myself begin to regain
Control.
I wandered aimlessly
Around a city with no name.
A nameless city with faceless people...
I turned a corner and realized my feet
Weren't doing the walking...
The nameless city was moving for me.
The magenta horizon beckoned me
And I hailed a bicycle to catch up.
I put on my rose colored glasses
To ease the orange glare...
But it made it worse.
Rose colored glasses aren't made
For a city like this.
As faces and buildings slowly
Became recognizable
The glare eased up.
My feet moved.
And I felt pain.

Distant dreamer, close your eyes,
And find within thee..
Your wings to fly.

Although..
If ever you come upon a cloudy day,
And your wings you can not find,
Know I’ll be the wind that day,
To push your clouds away,
And if still, your wings you can not find,
Know that then,
I’ll be the sun that shines,
Once the clouds are far away,
Guiding you throughout your flight.

So distant dreamer close your eyes,
And find within thee...

My sadness builds up like mountains in the sky,
And let the clouds be my eyes for when it thunders I would cry.
My tears would fall down from Heaven so others could taste my pain,
They'll know how it feels to be stuck in the rain...

Sleepless nights under the moonlight sky,
Drowning myself and buried under depression.
In a million words you couldn't find to explain
How you got lost in this sudden rain.

Waiting for love that was never sincere,
Was some devasation mixed up in the air?
When your vision is blurry and your mind creates clouds,
The thoughts that were unspoken were never meant to be expressed out loud...

the sky was dark as far as it could stretch
and the stars seem to be endless,
as the waves crashed against the shore,
you could hear them mourn.

as the breeze from the sea rested against my neck
i could feel the change.
why must you leave so soon?

--my sis wrote this about my grandfather that has his days numbered.

I think this is prolly the hardest coming death thats really got me hurt the most.
